課程目標

觀光是當代一顯勢的社會文化現象，它是人際，族際，群際，甚至國際關係的重要媒介之一，今日更成了全球化時代的代表性文化形式建構基礎。本課程擬自人類學、質性社會學以及文化研究的思考角度出發，多方觀察觀光現象中的動力性社會文化過程，並討論人類學者面對此一特定文化範疇的分析角色。我們會討論許多案例，也將接觸不少「新人類活動」與「新文化」範式，藉此有效掌握全球人類學的脈動。

課程要求

1.每週至少閱讀三篇論文，請務必盡全力唸完。
2.從3月10日起，每次上課由一至二位同學先以不超過30分鐘時間，報告並略評該週的閱讀文獻，接著再主持討論。
3.沒有輪到報告的同學，自3月3日起，每次上課必須各提兩個問題，並寫下來印給教師和所有同學。
4.每位同學必須交兩篇約4,000至5,000字的小型研究報告。
※第一篇報告的題意（二至十題），教師將於第七週4月17日發給同學，請擇一訂題撰寫，並在5月12日（週一)下午6：00之前以e-mail交齊。
※第二篇報告的題意，將於第十四週5月26日發給同學，請在6月20日（週一）下午6：00交齊。

其他注意事項：
1. 請準時出席上課。
2. 請假同學請依學校規定辦理。未按規定請假而曠課者，依學校規定處理。
3. 報告遲交者，在一小時之內扣原得分10分，超過一小時，一律扣30分。
4. 課上使用手提電腦者，請勿上網聊天或做個人私事。
5. 務請全程關閉手機。
6. 全部課堂閱讀資料已掛上http://ceiba.ntu.edu.tw。
